The inauguration of the Add-on courses for the academic 2023-24 was held onSeptember15, 2023 at 11.00 am. Rev. Fr Ashwin Lohith Cardoza, Director ICYM Diocese Mangalore the Chief Guest. President of the function Rev. Fr Michael Santhumayor, Principal & Campus Director, Coordinators of the Add-On courses Beautician Mrs. Flany Dsouza, photographer Mr Rajiv Shenoy, Crafting and Embroidery designer Mrs Harina Rao, Yoga Guru Yogaranthna Delampady Gopalakrishna, Soft Skills teacher Mrs Sribali Shetty, Spoken English coordinator Ms Carol Fernandes, Culinary Arts (cooking) chef Mr Denzil Dcosta were on the dais. Chief Guest in his message said such certificate and Add-on courses helps in laying a good foundation for a student’s career as they learn new skills. The President in his message said short-term training programs that are designed to supplement the core curriculum of a degree program. These courses are usually offered as certificate or diploma courses, and they provide students with additional skills and knowledge that are relevant to their field of study. The college focuses on identifying and tapping the talents and skills of the students through such courses and prepare them for a better future. Ms Sowmya Lecturer, welcomed the gathering. Mrs. Glencia Lecturer introduced 15 different free add on courses. Mrs Prathibha, Add on coordinator proposed the vote of thanks.
