NIHON NO SEKKAI - 2024
Milagres College, Mangalore, in association
with IQAC, organized “NIHON NO SEKKAI,” a Japanese-themed dinner and two-day
food festival held on October 24 and 25 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The event
featured a seven-course menu inspired by Japanese fusion cuisine, prepared by
the students and faculty of the B.Sc. Hospitality Studies program. The dinner
was inaugurated by Rev. Fr. Bonaventure Nazareth, the correspondent of Milagres
Institutions, along with Rev. Dr. Fr. Michael Santhumayor, the Campus Director
and Principal. Also present were Mr. Roshan Coelho, the Event Coordinator; Mr.
Denzil D’Costa, the H.O.D.; and Ms. Ashel D’Souza, the Student Coordinator. The
event included interactive sessions, games, and musical performances by
students and staff. A total of 300 guests attended this unique and engaging
fusion-themed dinner.
