The Kabaddi selection trials for PUC students aspiring for admission into the degree college were held on Friday, March 28, 2025, at the college rooftop auditorium. A total of 45 students participated in the trials, demonstrating their skills and athletic abilities. Following a rigorous evaluation process, 13 students were shortlisted. The selection criteria included an assessment of the participants' physical fitness, tactical understanding of the game, and teamwork skills. The selected students will be offered free education or fee concessions, considering both their academic performance and sports achievements. Additionally, they will receive midday meals to support their energy levels during training sessions and competitions. To further aid their participation, hostel concessions have been granted to meet their accommodation needs. The event was graced by Principal, Rev. Fr. Dr. Michael Santhumayor, and Mr. Aakash Shetty, Physical Director, who were present on the dais. Austin of II BCOM welcomed the gathering, and Mr. Aakash Shetty proposed the vote of thanks. The selection trials were successfully conducted, providing talented PUC students with an opportunity to advance in both academics and sports.
