The Career Guidance and Placement Cell, in association with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), organized a session titled “Career Opportunities after BCOM with Edroots Internationals” for the final-year BCOM, BSc FND, and BSc ID students on March 28, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 10:40 AM in the Final BCOM classroom (Room No. 401). The session featured Ms. Mary Oshin Vas, Manager of Edroots International Study Abroad, Mangalore, as the resource person. She provided valuable insights into the admission processes of various international universities, highlighting the diverse cultures and education systems of different countries. She also elaborated on scholarships and financial aid available from foreign universities, giving students a clearer understanding of funding opportunities. Additionally, the session covered details regarding the scope of studying abroad, including fee structures, required exams, and accommodation options. A total of 92 students actively participated in the session, gaining a comprehensive understanding of overseas higher education prospects. Juhi Joycee from Final Year BCOM welcomed the resource person and the gathering, while Sushmitha of Final Year BCOM proposed the vote of thanks. The session proved to be highly informative and beneficial, equipping students with valuable knowledge about international higher education opportunities and the necessary steps to pursue them.
